CORONAVIRUS UPDATE...From Great Rates Travel

In recent months, nearly every major tour company and cruise line has suspended travel worldwide, while schools and many
businesses have also closed for periods ranging from 60 days to indefinitely. The shutdown became inevitable as the global
spread of COVID-19 prompted countries around the world to place severe restrictions on travel in order to decrease the spread of this virus. And a couple months ago our President asked US citizens to hold All non-essential travel.

BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS AND HOPE ON THE HORIZON NOW...With the reduction in new COVID cases in most countries, the U.S. State Department has recently Lifted its Level 4 "Do Not Travel" Advisory!

We understand this is a confusing and frustrating time for travelers, with uncertainty on where and when it will be safe to travel.  And hold times to reach travel companies are often over an hour, whether you need to book new travel or reschedule/cancel old plans...but that's what we're here to help you with!  You can count on your Great Rates Travel agent to guide you to the best destinations and take care of your travel bookings so you have the flexibility to move or cancel your reservations without penalty whenever possible!  We are monitoring the coronavirus situation closely and have been working with our hotel, car, and airline partners to book travel with flexible change policies for our valued clients!

Our hearts go out to those who have been affected by the this pandemic and the current travel restrictions, and we sympathize with those whose special travel plans have had to be postponed.
