Transportation to Major Cruise Ports...

Cruise ports or terminals can be reached by car or taxi from hotels, airports, bus terminals and railroad stations.  
Cruise guests who purchase airport-to-pier one-way or round-trip transfers for the days of embarkation and/or debarkation will be escorted from/to the pier along with their luggage. Please ask for details.  The transfer service is only available during normal cruise boarding/deboarding hours. 

Guests who do not purchase transfers are responsible for all transportation to and from the pier and you can find directions below.

From I-45 South, take Exit 1C - Harborside Drive (Highway 275)
• Turn left (East) onto Harborside Drive
• Continue approximately 4.7 miles to Kempner/22nd Street
• Turn left onto Kempner/22nd Streed
• Proceed to Cruise Terminal - Pier #25

Disabled Veterans may be eligible for Free Cruise Parking at Port of Galveston lots, upon registration.

Parking Lots A/B/C -
• Guarded, lighted outdoor parking lot with 24-hour surveillance and police patrol.
• Full payment due upon entering the parking area.

• Pre-payments may be made by visiting www.portofgalveston.com.
• No advance reservations required
• Vehicles occupying two or more spaces will be charged double the rate.
Note: Luggage must be unloaded at the cruise terminal curbside prior to parking; the parking lot shuttle buses cannot
accommodate luggage.

Dolphin Parking Lot -
• Guarded, partially covered outdoor parking lot
• Full payment due upon entering the parking area.
• Accepted forms of payment - cash, major credit cards
• No advance reservations required
• Oversized vehicles will be charged per lot occupied.
Note: The Dolphin Lot is also available and offers one stop full service that includes transferring guests with their
luggage to/from the terminal. Assistance will be provided with loading and unloading of luggage.


Long Beach - Directions and Parking

Directions to the Port:
From Los Angeles area (north) -
• Take the 405 Freeway South
• Take the 710 Freeway South
• Continue on the 710 Freeway South and follow the signs for the Queen Mary
• At the entrance to the Queen Mary, stay to the far right of the parking ticket taker for the Queen Mary; this lane is the
entrance the Carnival Cruise terminal
• Follow the directional signs for Passenger Parking and Luggage Drop-Off Area

From San Diego area (south) -
• Take I-5 north
• Take the 405 Freeway North
• Take the 710 Freeway South
• Continue on the 710 Freeway South and follow the signs for the Queen Mary
• At the entrance to the Queen Mary, stay to the far right of the parking ticket taker for the Queen Mary; this lane is the

San Diego - Directions and Parking

3 miles from the San Diego International Airport; travel time is approximately 15 minutes.

Directions to the Port:

Traveling from the North

I-5 south  
Take the exit for the San Diego International Airport.
Continue straight on Kettner Boulevard.
Turn right on Laurel Street.
After crossing over Pacific Highway, stay in the left lane; the right lane will take you to the airport.
Turn left on Harbor Drive and proceed to the terminal.

Traveling from the North and South (alternate route)

I-5 North or South.
Take the Front Street exit and head south on Front Street.
Turn right on Broadway.
Turn right on Harbor Drive and proceed to the terminal.

Port Parking:
If you will be driving to the pier and need to park your car, there are several parking lots nearby.  You will NOT be
permitted to park at the pier during your cruise.  Rates are subject to change without notice.  Handicap Parking available
with proof of valid permit.  Call parking facilities for additional information.

Traveling from I-65 North or South -
• Take I-65 to I-165
• Exit at Water Street
• Directional signage will be visible
• Security Check-In will take place at the Hank Aaron Loop. All guests will be pre-screened before proceeding to the
parking lot and cruise terminal.

From I-10 East or West -
• Exit at Water Street
• Directional signage will be visible
• Security Check-In will take place at the Hank Aaron Loop. All guests will be pre-screened before proceeding to the
parking lot and cruise terminal.

Parking:

New Orleans - Directions and Parking

• 16 miles from the New Orleans International Airport; travel time is approximately 40 minutes.

Directions to the Port:
• From Interstate 10 East to New Orleans:
Follow the signs to the New Orleans Business District, U.S 90 West, Crescent City Connection to the West Bank.
Take exit 11-C, Tchoupitoulas/South Peters Street.
Proceed down the ramp to the ground level.
At the second traffic light, turn right. This is Tchoupitoulas Street.
At the next traffic light, turn left. This is Henderson Street.
Go two blocks (cross over the railroad tracks) and turn left. This is Port of New Orleans Place.
The Erato Street Terminal is directly ahead. Harbor Police will be directing traffic.

Parking:
$16.00 per day (rates subject to change by the Port Authority)
6-story building; garage on floors 3-6; 1000 parking spaces.
Full payment due upon entering the parking garage.

The garage is secure, lighted and patrolled.
Handicap Parking available with proof of valid permit.

Parking for Oversized vehicles: $32.00 per day.  Rates subject to change by the Port Authority.
Oversized vehicles or those that take up more than one space will be directed to the Poydras Street Parking Lot after
unloading luggage and passengers at the Erato Street Terminal.
The outdoor lot has 75 spaces and is secure, lighted and patrolled.
There is a shuttle available to bring you back to the Erato Cruise Terminal.

• New Jersey Turnpike North/South
• Take the Lincoln Tunnel to New York City
• Follow signs to West 42nd Street
• Turn left on to West 42nd Street
• Turn right on to 12th Avenue (West Side Highway)
• Turn left at 55th Street and proceed up the ramp to the terminal
• Proceed to Pier #88/90/92.

Parking:
$22.00 per day (rate subject to change by the Port Authority)
• Open rooftop, gated, outdoor parking lot under 24-hour patrol

• Follow signs for Pier #5 or Pier #10

Traveling from Orlando International Airport -
• Take Beeline Expressway (528 East)
• Head east approximately 12 miles toward Port Canaveral
• Take exit for Cruise Terminal A
• Follow signs for Pier #5 or Pier #10

Traveling from Tampa -
• Take I-4 East
• Exit at Beeline Expressway (528 East)
• Head east approximately 12 miles toward Port Canaveral

From the Florida Turnpike, I-95, US-1, State Road 7 (441), I-75 and Sawgrass Expressway -
• Take I-595 East straight into Port Everglades
• Once in Port Everglades, I-595 becomes Eller Drive/10th Avenue
• At the traffic light, proceed straight on 10th Avenue. You will approach a sign with instructions that will direct you to the
assigned terminal
• The entrance to the Midport Parking Garage will be located on the left side of 10th Avenue.

Parking:
$10.00 per day (rate subject to change by the Port Authority)
• Midport Parking Garage: 6 floors; 2,000 spaces

Florida Aquarium.

From the North -
• I-75 South to I-4 West OR I-275 South to I-4 East
• Take Exit 1 (sign will read: Port of Tampa/Ybor City)
• Take 21st Street South
• Turn right on East Adamo Drive/Hwy 60
• East Adamo Drive/Hwy 60 will turn into Channelside Drive/13th Street
• Bear to the left and follow signs for the Florida Aquarium/Seaport Terminal
• After dropping off your luggage at the terminal, the entrance to the parking garage will be on your left

From the South -
• I-75 North
• Take Crosstown Expressway West (toward Tampa)
• Take 22nd Street North Exit (sign will read: Port of Tampa/Ybor City)

• Turn left on East Adamo Drive/Hwy 60

• Follow the directional signs to Biscayne Boulevard (Exit #2A/#2B)
• Follow directions for Biscayne Boulevard South; turn right at the traffic light/stop sign
• Stay in the left lane
• The entrance to the Port of Miami is at Biscayne Boulevard and Port Boulevard (N.E. 5th Street)
• At the traffic light, turn left at Port Boulevard (N.E. 5th Street)
• Proceed over the bridge and follow the directional signs to Terminals #8 and #9

Traveling from the West Coast of Florida -
• I-75 East toward Fort Lauderdale
• I-595 East toward Fort Lauderdale
• I-95 South toward Miami
• Exit at I-395 east toward Miami Beach (Exit #2D)
• Follow the directional signs to Biscayne Boulevard (Exit #2A/#2B)
• Follow directions for Biscayne Boulevard South; turn right at the traffic light/stop sign
• Stay in the left lane
• The entrance to the Port of Miami is at Biscayne Boulevard and Port Boulevard (N.E. 5th Street)
• At the traffic light, turn left at Port Boulevard (N.E. 5th Street)
• Proceed over the bridge and follow the directional signs to Terminals #8 and #9.

Directions from Points South
•Follow I-95 North to Exit 55, Key Highway.

•The South Locust Point Cruise Terminal's entrance is on the right.

Directions from Points North
•Follow I-95 South through the Ft. McHenry Tunnel. Be sure to be in the right lane when going through the tunnel.
•Take Exit 55, Key Highway.
•Turn left at the traffic light onto East McComas Street.
•Follow the signs to the South Locust Point Cruise Terminal's entrance on the right.

$30.00 per cruise night – recreational vehicles under 30 feet
$40.00 per cruise night – recreational vehicles over 30 feet and busses
Upon arrival, guests will be directed to drop off their luggage in the appropriate luggage boxes for screening
and handling. Please have your cruise line issued luggage tags filled out and attached to your bags. If you do not
have tags, upon entry to the terminal, visit the tent marked "Cruise Luggage Tags" (located on your left as you enter) to
receive your tags. After dropping off your luggage, you will then proceed to our long-term parking lot.

•Secure parking lot is located next to the cruise terminal.
•Overflow parking is located close by and there will be a shuttle provided.
•Accepted forms of payment: U.S Dollars; Traveler's Checks; VISA; Mastercard; American Express.
•Parking fees are paid upon arrival.
•No advance reservations are required.
•Handicap Parking available with proof of valid permit.
